Internet People Snatching? Say what?!?

Internet people snatching. What exactly is it? Well people snatching is the stealing of a person also know as kidnapping (duh). And how is it done? Generally by taking the person or the people away from other people, but remember we are talking internet here so it's a little different. By snatching over the internet it mean you are FORCING the person or people to choose you over someone else. It is that simple. But can you really internet snatch people? Maybe. I mean if you are REALLY good at persuading people to change there minds. Or if the person you are snatching is a people pleaser and wants so badly to be liked by you that he/she is willing to drop a person from their life just to make sure you remain happy. Does it actually happen? Like for real? *Exasperated sigh* Yes it actually happens. Like for real. But not often mind you.

Okay, now that is out of the way the reason I am writing this. You see I have a "sister" online and I have this friend, also online, my friend is totally convinced that my "sister" is snatching his friends and "family". I don't see it, BUT, I could be blind to her so called evil people snatching ways.

Honestly people snatching is so very hard to do. It's like saying to someone "you can have your computer or you can have your phone, BUT you cant have both". People just cant pick one or the other! It's our nature. We want both. We want options. And if you take that away from us, soon we will tire of the thing we chose and want what we gave up. We will become unhappy, so unhappy in fact that we will make those around us unhappy.

The fact is we can't tell people who they can and can't be friends with. Just as we can't choose their friends for them. We are free as humans to pick and choose what or who we want. If I want to chose one person over another it's not because someone is forcing me. It's because I have the freewill to do so. Try as we may we can't force anyone into doing something they don't want. It will just end badly for everyone involved.

So in closing internet people snatching isn't really people snatching. It is just one person who may or may not choose one over the other. It's also people being so insecure with themselves that they think everyone they don't know is out to steal their friends away from them, even though we know this generally isn't the case.

Remember people you cant make someone not be friends with someone else against their own freewill. Also people remember all of this is INTERNET. I'm not saying don't make friends and don't get attached, I am saying it's not face to face its over a computer where the chances that you will actually meet are slim to none.  So there it all is. In black and white.
